About Us
At Rusty's Legacy, we believe every dog deserves a second chance. Founded by Jeri and supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, our mission is to rescue dogs from high-kill shelters and provide them with the care and love they need while waiting for their forever homes. We are often these dogs' last and best hope, offering medical treatment, behavioral evaluations, and spay/neuter services (except for puppies under 16 weeks). Together, we work tirelessly to ensure that each dog is healthy, happy, and ready to become a cherished member of your family.

Your financial contributions help us provide food, medical care, and a safe environment for our dogs. Every donation, big or small, directly impacts the well-being of our furry residents. We also welcome donations of blankets, towels, paper towels, leashes, collars, and dog houses. We rely on monetary donations for the upkeep of the rescue, including spending about $400 every six weeks on gravel and fence repairs.
